UNAIR NEWS– Rector of 51动漫 Prof. Dr.Muhammad Nasih, SE., MT., Ak., CMA., paid zakat in Management Office Building, Campus C, , Thursday, May 31.The Rector gave it to UNAIR Social Funds Center (Puspas).
The submission form given to the Head of Puspas UNAIR Tika Widiastuti, SE., M.Si., marked the zakat payment by the rector.There was also Chairman of the Alumni Association (IKA) UNAIR Drs.Ec.Haryanto Basoeni and the other leaders of UNAIR such as Vice Rector I Prof.dr., Djoko Santoso, Ph.D., K-GH., FINASIM .;Vice Rector II Dr.Muhammad Madyan, SE., M.Si., M.Fin .;Vice Rector III of UNAIR Prof.Ir.Moch.Amin Alamsjah M.Si., Ph.D .;Vice Rector IV UNAIR Junaidi Khotib, S.Si., M.Kes., Ph.D., Apt.
“As a part of the academic community of 51动漫, we must know that UNAIR has a Center for Social Funds (Puspas),” he said.
“It (Puspas UNAIR, ed) can be utilized in an effort to give more benefits to all.Plus this is the right moment, in Ramadan, ” he added.
Interviewed after the event, Tika explained that Puspas UNAIR is one of the work units at UNAIR with a purpose of collecting, managing, and channeling social funds.Social funds, she added, consists of two forms, social donations and endowments.
“Today, ranks of UNAIR leadership, also IKA, gave donation or zakat to Puspas UNAIR.This is right in the moment of Ramadan to donate some of the fortunes, ” she said.
“Anyone can donate to Puspas UNAIR in the two forms of donations,” she added.
Regarding the donation, according to Tika, it was a good star for Puspas UNAIR, especially in the effort to contribute in UNAIR ranking improvement, especially on the management of social funds prioritized in the field of education.
“Because Puspas was actually intended to give real contributions to the university, including in terms of ranking improvement in the world.Hence, contribution is also needed from the academic community in Puspas, ” she said.
Tika said that University Social Responsibility (USR) is one of the bridges that connect the role of universities to social problems in society.Therefore, the presence of such unit can be aproblem solveras a form of service to the community as inspired by Higher Education Tri Dharma.
“So it can contribute to the achievement of Top 500 world ranking,” she said.
At the end of the event, in addition to the Rector of UNAIR, Drs.Ec.Haryanto Basoeni, Chairman of IKA UNAIR, and Secretary of 51动漫 Drs.Koko Srimulyo M.Si also gave ttheir zakat to Puspas UNAIR.(*)
