UNAIR NEWS All members of academic community of 51动漫 can try various facilities offered by 51动漫檚 Library including the freshmen. Library is a vital source for academic community to get scientific references.
To introduce the facility, UNAIR Library is going to be involved in student activity units display event. The students will get information about the library from Library Introduction Program to Freshmen (P3MB), such as information on Library 101 and Online Research Management (ORM).
According to Siti Muzaroh as the Public Relations staff of UNAIR Library, Library 101 program is an orientation and literacy program for freshmen.
淒uring Library 101 activity, freshmen should understand the procedures, rules, collection, tracking method and many other things. It will be done in UNAIR Campus B Library. Through this program, freshmen will be informed about the library services and facilities in libraries of university in Campus A, B, and C, said Siti.
According to Siti, this academic year, Library 101 will be held in August and hopefully all freshmen participate well in this program.
In addition to Library 101, there is a new online program calledonline research management(ORM) which was managed by UNAIR Library and held for the postgraduate students.
The participants for ORM program can acquire information on electronic information resources subscribed by the libraries. With this ORM program, academic community of UNAIR hopefully can use the information services such as electronic journals and electronic textbooks at best.
Furthermore, Library 101 and ORM program is compulsory for undergraduate and postgraduate students who wants to borrow books from UNAIR library. The programs are available in libraries of UNAIR in Campus A, B and C.
Therefore, the library through its information technology team and R&D team also provide proxy account so the access to electronic references can be done remotely anywhere and anytime.
To participate in the programs students must made a registration on. In the registration app, the committee has assigned the schedule of P3MB so the students can choose the day for their participation. The participants will get certificate of participation after they finish it.
淭he program will be conducted so the students can use the library well and the process of learning can also run well, stated the public relations staff UNAIR Library.
