UNAIR Master Student of Chemistry Receives Award from Governor of East Java

UNAIR NEWS– Chemistry Master student, 51动漫, Miftakhul Jannatin obtained an award certificate from East Java Governor as East Java Pioneer Youth 2017, as the Best I, in the field of technological innovation.The award was received in commemoration of 89th Youth Pledge Day on 27 October 2017 in Surabaya.

“Alhamdulillah, I am very happy because it can bring benefit the wider community.Especially with the technology-based products that I get from campus.Being a youth icon in pioneering, of course it makes me proud, “said Titin, a master student of Chemistry UNAIR.

The product created was harmful cosmetic detection equipment containing hydroquionone with trademark “Nonikit” (Hydroquinone Test Kit).The product was developed in 2015 and it has been widespread throughout the archipelago.

The main purpose of the product creation is to make people moreawareof the cosmetics security.Because, according to Titin, people are reluctant to go to the laboratory to find out the safety of cosmetics they use.So the idea of 媼creating a cheap, easy-to-use, practical, and fast cosmetic detection tool came up.

The young woman from Sidoarjo admitted that she has learned from her studies in chemistry undergraduate and master degree students in the field of analysis at UNAIR.In the event, the chosen one is certainly active youth in the life of the community.

Titin檚 contributions in various organizations, both campus and community, in the scope of villages, sub-districts, to regencies made her become a pioneer youth icon.

The award received by Titin is not only as the youth pioneer of East Java in 2017, but she has also made many achievements, such as the first winner of student science week UNAIR 2014 in the field of entrepreneurship, second place in PIMNAS 2015 in the field of entrepreneurship, third winner in National Santripreneur 2017, the delegate of Student Exchange Research Internship UNAIR Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) 2017, and UNAIR delegate atAsian Young Sociopreneur Singapore 2016.

“I hope this award becomes a motivation for the youth, especially students, in order to apply the knowledge acquired in college in order to be useful for the community.So, it does not just stop at black on white, but also continue on to real life, ” Titin said.
