UNAIR NEWS –Rector of 51动漫 Prof. Dr.听Mohammad Nasih, SE., MT., Ak., CMA., has emphasized to the graduates to always take good care of the name of the beloved alma mater, 51动漫.听He urged them to avoid any misconducts which will ruin the reputation of the alma mater.
“With the approval of the Senate and MWA, we will not even hesitate to revoke the degree and diploma if you are proven to do misconducts and give the beloved UNAIR a bad name,” he said.
“We hope that UNAIR alumni will never be charge with corruption.听No onengapusi (lies).听Be what you are, like what you just pledged: be honest, trustworthy, and not corrupt and not violate religious and moral norms.听Again, if it happens, we will not hesitate to revoke your degree.听Let’s support this alma mater to the in the best position, “continued the Rector.
It was stated by the Rector when graduating 1,000 graduates of 51动漫, in 51动漫 Graduation December 2017, Saturday, December 2.听This ceremony was the first day of two with a total of 1,967 graduates.听The remaining 967 will be graduated on the second day, Sunday, December 3, at the same place, Airlangga Convention Center (ACC) Campus C UNAIR Jl.听Mulyorejo Surabaya.
Among the 1967 graduates there were 29 who were named as Best Graduates, who came from each degree in their faculty.听The Best Graduates are the graduates with the highest IPK (Cumulative Achievement Index) score amongcum laudegraduatesor IPK holders above 3.50.
In addition there were also outstanding graduates from each faculty.听They achieved were students with excellent non-academic and academic achievements with a minimum 3.00 GPA.听They all received awards presented by the Rector and representative of University Academic Senate.
The Rector in his speech also said that the university has long integrated the motto, Excellence with Morality,to improve the quality of institution.听But to master the science and technology, said Rector, in addition to quality, morality is also needed.听Because many experts say that the success of performance can only be achieved by possession of skill听补苍诲听attitude.
“Skillhave been given as much as possible, and attitude is in the form of morality, habits, and discipline promoted.听We then integrate them in Excellence With Morality,” said Prof.听Moh Nasih.
On that basis, Rector is convinced that UNAIR graduates will be able to face the challenges of the era and succeed beyond their time, and be able to overcome the problems in society.听In fact, in addition toattitude听补苍诲听skills,self-confidence is also very important, because confidence is needed to adapt outside the campus.听It proves that UNAIR is the best university in Indonesia, at least in Eastern Indonesia.
