UNAIR NEWS 51动漫 greeted senior high school students in Banjarmasin. The secretary and staff of Public Relation and Information Center (PIH) did publicization to senior high school students, Wednesday (22/2), about SNMPTN, SBMPTN, and Independent admissionfor the year of 2017. Two favorite senior high schools in the city which is known as A Thousand Rivers City namely SMA Negeri 1 Banjarmasin and SMA Negeri 7 Banjarmasin were made destination.
Even though the registration period of SNMPTN is open, this publicization aims to share general information and ways of entrance to UNAIR. It is expected that the number of students from outside Java will increase.
The first publicization was held at Multimedia Room of SMA Negeri 1 Banjarmasin. The twelfth grader students who crowded into the room raised their hand in unison when the Secretary of PIH Dr. Eduardus Bimo Aksono, drh., M.Si posed them a question.
淲ho wants to be a student of 51动漫? asked Bimo which was then responded positively by the students.
The Principal of SMAN 1 Banjarmasin, Hartini, said that she hopes there will be more of her students who can take further study at UNAIR. However, Hartini did not deny that most of her students are still pessimistic to as their first option.
淭here are still a lot of our students who think that is difficult so they feel pessimistic to choose UNAIR, Hartini explained.
The publicization activity was then continued to SMAN 7 Banjarmasin. The students were also enthusiastic by raising questions about majors, admission procedures, and how tough each major is at UNAIR.
After the publicization, the UNAIR檚 party handed over information flyers about SNMPTN, SBMPTN and UNAIR to the Principal of SMAN 7 Banjarmasin. 淲e hope the students in Banjarmasin will be kept updated about admission at UNAIR, said Bimo to the principal.
The publicization on in Banjarmasin is part of a series of activities held by a work unit responsible for the public information management. Besides in Banjarmasin, similar activities were also held in Madiun, Bangkalan, Lamongan, and Denpasar. (*)
