UNAIR NEWS In order to make acquaintance with the parents or guardians of the freshmen, Secretary of UNAIR held an avent titled Silaturahmi Pimpinan 51动漫 dengan Orang Tua/Wali Mahasiswa Baru in Airlangga Convention Center on Thursday, August 18.
There were at least more than 4,124 parents or guardians of UNAIR freshmen through SBMPTN, SNMPTN and Independent admission of non-Bidikmisi. The introduction of the university high rank officials with the parents was the first ever held. In the past, an event like this was held only with parents of Bidikmisi students.
淚 never thought that there will be this many attending. And I am sure that the parents attending are extraordinary people, said UNAIR Rector, Prof. Dr. M. Nasih, SE., MT., Ak., CA., CMA.
In his speech, Prof. Nasih expressed his gratitude to the students parents who spared their time for the event. Furthermore, Prof. Nasih also said his gratitude for their trust to UNAIR.
淲e檇 like to express our gratitude, for choosing UNAIR as your children檚 education institution. Without your trust, we would be nothing, said the professor of Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UNAIR.
For their trust, Prof. Nasih ensured them that they had made a right choice to educate their children in UNAIR. 淲e檇 like to ensure you that the choice to educate your children in UNAIR was the right one, he said.
In the occasion, Prof. Nasih introduce UNAIR to the parents of students. He said that UNAIR is one of the oldest university in Indonesia and it is also the fourth best university in the country. He also introduced UNAIR motto 淓xcellence with Morality.
淵our sons and daughters will get education in the best university in eastern Indonesia, he said. 淯NAIR motto is Excellence with Morality, it means that UNAIR students have intellectual and physical excellence but with good morality. It檚 like having a German brain and Macca檚 heart, he added followed with applause.
淥nce again we檇 like to say congratulations and success for your children檚 success being admitted in UNAIR, said Prof. Nasih.
