UNAIR NEWS – Some people call it “angin duduk“.In the language of medicine, it is referred asAngina Pectoris, one type of heart disease that attacks suddenly due to lack of oxygen supply in the heart muscle.
According toNational Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute’s Atherosclerotic Risk in Communities(ARIC), deaths from this sudden attack reaches 37% in a year.Currently, detection of this health disorder can be done usingElectro Cardio Graph(ECG).
Unfortunately, ECG can only performed in hospitals only, so the patients in remote areas has difficulty to have access to it.
From that important need, fiveof 51动漫 created a device that can be used to detect this disease early.TheInvention Creativity Program Team(PKM-KC) from 51动漫 are Ahmad Nurianto, Aji Sapta, Rahardian, Difa Fanani, and Novi Dwi.
After passing a rigorous selection from the General Directorate of Higher Education, the PKM-KC proposal by Ahmad Nurianto and friends is entitled to get developmental fund from the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education檚 2016-2017 PKM program.
Described by Ahmad Nurianto, the device was named颈-贬耻尘产濒别听, theabbreviation ofInnovation Heart Monitoring Portable Device.It comes withdigital filtersand expert systems.Usinga digital filter, it is intended that the graphics of the resulting heart signal are more readable.

Furthermore, the device is quite small in size, because the components used aredigitalcomponents.With such a small size, this device is portable and can be used in emergency situations.
This device also has expert system which can detect the risk of patients suffering from the disease.This device also uses a touch screen display, so it is easily operated.

“Thus we hope this tool can reach medical personnel located in remote villages in Indonesia, considering the early detection of angina pectoris and other heart disease is important for all Indonesian people,” said Ahmad Nurianto.(*)
