PWMV is one of the competition programs organized by the Directorate of Vocational and Professional Higher Education. The program is expected to produce creative, innovative work and useful business opportunities for students early on.
Mayla Rahmawati, the team leader of BYEMI Team, said that PWMV focuses on business opportunities based on the problems and needs in the community. The team檚 motivation was to create products or works with a positive impact to the wider community, especially people with disabilities.
淭hen, we included the idea in the PWMV. We hope that the range of our products can be wider and the benefits can be felt sustainably, she continued.
The product idea of 媼楤YEMI: Adaptive Women檚 Fashion Ever started from the development of an adaptive fashion model for all communities. The team thought that everyone has the same right to have a fashionable appearance.
淭herefore, we thought about how we could create a product that could be used by all women, including people with disabilities, so they don檛 have to worry about keeping up with the developments in the fashion world, she explained.

Mayla explained that their business innovation lies in disability-friendly clothing products. The team added a hidden button as the use of sign language or symbols for disability.
淭his will be useful to increase people檚 knowledge of sign language, she said.
The team檚 products are ready for production. However, due to the pandemic and government policies regarding PPKM, the production process is hampered because some product materials cannot be shipped. (*)
