UNAIR NEWS After holding a national level competition 漌anala Climbing Competition (WCC) last April 2016, nature lovers club (Wanala) 51动漫 did not stand idle. They have had some trainees on climbing. WCC was held as a part of Wanala Nature Festival (Wanafest) to celebrate the 42nd anniversary of UKM Wanala.
漈here are twenty students of elementary school who live nearby Campus C, Mulyorejo and Kalijudan residents. This club was named LSC (Life Sport Climbing), said Bernart Yogi Abrian, Head of UKM Wanala UNAIR to UNAIR News not long ago.
The target was to make the sport climbing popular, a way to regeneration. In Campus C UNAIR Mulyorejo, there is also an excellent facility of wall climbing so the training can be maximized with the supporting facility.
Bernart said that the training was done on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at three in the afternoon. The instructors or trainers are the members of UKM Wanala. The equipments used are the ones belong to UKM Wanala.
From LSC Wanala UNAIR, some have made achievement in WCC championship, such as in Lead U-12 (Under 12) Male category, Anfias Splendida (Wanala UNAIR/SDN Mulyorejo 1 Surabaya) got a bronze medal.
Wanala UNAIR team also made some achievements, in Lead U-16 Male M Ryan Alfiandi (Wanala UNAIR)got gold. M Ryanalso got a bronze in Lead General Male. There is also Risky Bin Isnaini who got a bronze medal in Lead General Female. (*)
