1,008 UNAIR Students Graduated on March 11

UNAIRNEWS UNAIR Rector Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasih, SE., MT., Ak., CMA., graduated 2,018 students in March 2017 graduation. It was held on Saturday, March 11 and Sunday, March 12. On Saturday, there were 1,008 students officially graduated from .

The procession was held in Airlangga Convention Center, Campus C UNAIR. Among the graduates, there were 28 students named as best and outstanding graduates in each degree and faculty.

The best UNAIR graduates were the graduates with the highest GPA while the outstanding graduates were the students with excellent GPA and highest Achievement Credit Unit (SKP) in each faculty.

In his address, Nasih hoped that all graduates should show concern with the community around them. It should be our commitment.

淜nowledge can be started from the problems in the community. Take parts in solving the problems and believe that your knowledge acquired in this alma mater is enough to support you finding the solution, said Nasih.

Nasih also said that answers always follow the challenges. 淲ith confidence, change the challenges to be opportunities. There are stories of success from people who were able not only getting out of the trouble but also being a winner, said UNAIR Rector.

For this march 2017 graduation, faculty with most students graduated was Faculty of Medicine with 286 graduates from bachelor to doctoral degree. The second was Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) with 260 graduates followed by Faculty of Law with 255 graduates.

There were 177 graduates of Faculty of Vocational Studies, followed by the Faculty of Dental Medicine with 167 graduates and Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) with 151 graduates and Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) with 151 graduates. Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) graduates were 132 people, Faculty of Public Health (FKM) with 112 graduates, Faculty of Nursing with 105 graduates. There were 94 graduates of Faculty of Humanities, 82 graduates of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FKH), 57 graduates of Faculty of Pharmacy (FF), 53 graduates of Faculty of Psychology, 50 graduates of Faculty of Fisheries and Marine (FPK) and 37 graduates of Postgraduate School.
