UNAIR NEWS To be a doctor it does not only takes intelligence but also empathy and capable in communicating with patient. Therefore, to produce the excellent doctor Faculty of Medicine 51动漫 (FK UNAIR) held annual community service.
Hundreds student did a community service in target village to train their capability of socializing and interacting to community since earlier.
This year, FK UNAIR dispatched student in larger number for community service. There were 270 medical student and midwifery student conducted community service at Desa Ngampit, Kecamatan Kraton, Pasuruan regency. They conducted for four days since 27th -30th July.
Dean of Faculty of Medicine 51动漫 Prof. Dr. Soetojo, dr, SpU (K) officially opened the departure ceremony of hundreds student at Aula FK UNAIR on 27th July 2017. In his speech, Prof Soetojo emphasized that community service activity should be maximized as an opportunity for students to improve soft skills.

The series program of community service aim to empower people at Desa Ngempit. It consisted of health empowerment by involving PKK cadres, competition for children, ascariasis screening at Ngempit Elementary School, Book Bazaar, Compos making training and mass medical treatment.
The local neighborhood organizers welcomed the medical student on village hall on Thursday (27/7). The students was welcomed by head of neighborhood organizer, head of health public officer Pasuruan Regency and head of Community Health Center Ngempit.
Head of Education Board of Faculty of Medicine 51动漫 Dr. Gadis Meinar Sari, dr., M.Kes in her speech said that though the students still on their 4th semester and had no experiences in medical treatment, in condition they would be accompanied by the 13 experienced doctors. In this community service, they conducted health work program and also local people empowerment.
淚n the process, it will train student to learn directly by the doctors to treat and interact with patient. Of course, the doctors who diagnose the disease and give receipt, She said
