UNAIR NEWS Faculty of Dental Medicine(FKG) 51动漫 听is committed to contribute dealing with pregnancy health problems, especially on dental and oral health. As a progressive measure, this time, FKG UNAIR has trained the cadres of 1000 HPK (First Day of Birth) who will support mothers with pregnancy in all public health centers (Puskesmas) in Surabaya on Friday, August 4.
Based on the research result conducted by the research team of Dental Public Health Science Department (IKGM) FKG UNAIR, gingivitis can cause preeclampsia to pregnant mothers. It was marked with high blood pressure and dental caries during pregnancy.
The workshop provided general knowledge on dental and gum problems. The participants also trained to perform dental and gum examination with WHO standards.
淭he cadres of 1000 HPK are the frontrunner of the preventive and promotive effort of pregnant mothers health in Surabaya. With boosting session on identification-examination-recording of their dental and oral condition, the pregnant mothers or even the cadres itself have better awareness, stated Dr. Taufan Bramantoro, drg., M.Kes as the Head of the event.
After the workshop entitled 淪urveyor Training for WHO Oral Health Survey, the participants with medical education backgrounds such as nurses, midwives, doctors, dentists and public health staff are asked to collect data on dental and gum health condition of pregnant mothers they are assigned to. It was done as evaluation of the workshop.
淧articipants are expected to monitor and identify dental and gum condition of the pregnant mothers they are responsible for and the data will be processed to analyze whether there is danger faced for them in Surabaya 听related to dental and gum condition, said drg. Gilang R. Sabdho Wening,. M.Kes as one of the instructor in the workshop.
