UNAIR NEWS – Anil Dawan was grateful for grace and blessings from God as he was appointed as the best graduate of Doctoral Program (S3) Human Resources Development, Postgraduate School, at March 2018 graduation. The man born in Blitar, January 4, 1975 was graduted with perfect GPA, 4.00.
“I am sure with two important things, efforts and prayers.In line with the motto ‘Ora et labora‘ (synergy between praying and working / learning –ed).This is the key to achieving maximum results and completing studies with the best results.So, I am grateful, happy, and relieved and proud of this achievement, “said the recipient of The Bridging Gaps scholarship program, Vrije University Amsterdam, NL.
During college, Anil was active in NGO Wahana Visi Indonesia as a manager.It a challenge for him to balance his work and study.However, he tried his best to overcome it and strives to learn tirelessly.
“I schedule every day to do my assignments and dissertations, at least 1-3 hours outside my work time.In addition, I realize that doctoral study demands sacrifice energy, time, and cost for the best results, “he explained.
In his dissertation, Anil studied “Transformational Leadership in Core Value Learning or Values 媼of Faith Based Humanitarian Organization Values”.The study was raised because faith-based humanitarian organizations evolved over time.
It was also to enrich the theory of transformational leadership.Particularly in relation to the core values 媼 learning of faith-based humanitarian organizations.
In the future, he will continue his activity in Wahana Visi Indonesia that helps the poor through empowerment in health, education, child protection and disaster response, and advocacy.He is also going to teach in educational institutions, writing a book collection of seminar materials and training he followed, and open a human resource development consultancy (human resources).
“In addition to all projections to be achieved, I want to always serve and share knowledge to everyone,” he said.
