UNAIR NEWS – After the success of the Dean Cup program, the Ministry of Youth and Sport of Faculty of Law Student Executive Board (BEM) 51动漫 held a sports competition with the Law Cup.The competition is held from September 16-22.
The Law Cup event consists of three sports, including basketball, volleyball, and futsal.This competition is followed by high school students and students in Surabaya and surrounding areas.
“The Law Cup competition has been held in the last three years.The first event was held in 2015. It is an annual program from BEM, especially Kemenpora, “said Ichsan Ahmad as the head of the committee.
Some schools participating in this Law Cup include SMAN 2 Surabaya, SMAN 16 Surabaya, SMAN 22 Surabaya, SMA Giki 2 Surabaya, SMAN 18 Surabaya, SMA Petra 1 Surabaya, SMA Sejahtera Surabaya, SMA Antariksa 2 Sidoarjo, SMKN 1 Mojokerto.While participants from universities include FH University of Surabaya, FISIP UNAIR, FH Bhayangkara University Surabaya, and Surabaya State Electronics Polytechnic.
The first winner of futsal competition was Ubaya FH team, 2nd place FH Ubhara, 3rd place was FISIP UNAIR.For the volleyball, was by SMA Antariksa 2 Sidoarjo and SMA 1 Krian.
As for the basketball, the first place was SMAK Untung Suropati Sidoarjo, second place was SMAK Petra 1 Surabaya, and third place was SMAN 16 Surabaya.Thebest supporterawardwas won by SMAN 3 Surabaya.
Ichsan said that the organization of Law Cup competition had obstacles related to venue in the Sports Arena (GOR) in Campus C due to the schedule of events coincided with other faculties events.However, obstacles can be resolved and the Law Cup ran smoothly.
“Hopefully this event can grow seeds of achievement in sports at national and international level,” added Ichsan.
With the Law Cup, the programs of Kemenpora BEM FH UNAIR 2017 have been done entirely.(*)
