UNAIR NEWS To get a healthy body, we should not only do exercise. Excellent nutrition supply is needed to achieve the expected healthy and fit body.
Understanding the importance of this combination, Department of Health Nutrition with Arts and Sports Division, Nutrition Student Association, Student Executive Board of Faculty of Public Health (FKM) 51动漫 have released Nutri-Aerobic program. This program release was held after callisthenic activities in the south FKM, Friday, January 27.
The instructor of callisthenic activity was Muri Kuswari, M.Si Head of Nutrition Department of Nutrition Universitas Esa Unggul. It was attended by Prof. Dr. Ir. Hardinsyah, M.S, as the Chief of Indonesian Food Pergizi.
After the calisthenics, Prof. Hardinsyah gave some information on tips of doing exercise and nutrition for healthy body. As he said, doing exercise is better done in the morning before eight o檆lock so we can get ultraviolet and pro vitamin D exposure.
淕ood exercise is done in the morning with complete clothes which absorb the sweat easily and bright color so vitamin can get into the body perfectly, he said.
Aris Cahyo Purnomo, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes. as the Coordinator of Nutrition program said that this released Nutri-Aerobic is held to create a habit of exercising and providing nutritional education.
淎ll this time there are a lot of movements encouraging sports or exercise, but there are many people have not known the correct way to do it, it should also be followed with good nutrition so we can get optimal fitness, said Aris after the calisthenics activity.
Aris said that ultraviolet and pro vitamin D available in the morning will help the bone formation. With better nutrition and some exercise, we will get better breathing, stronger heart to pump the blood and circulation in the body will be better as well.
In the future, this Nutri-Aerobic program will hold various events. Routinely, healthy calisthenics will be held once a day and attended by all academicians of UNAIR. Like that day, after the calisthenics and aerobic, information nutrition is given. This is what makes Nutri-Aerobic different from the usual aerobic program.
淲e will give tips on nutrition which can be easily done. We will hold them in themes. For example, this week is about bone cells, next week can be about nutrition and hypertension or nutrition and diabetes. We will always update, added Aris.
Information on nutrition after the calisthenics will be presented by senior students and lecturers of Nutrition Department. Aris said that it should not be a lot of information, but it should be right on target and easy to practice.
淭he nutritional information given should not be long, five to seven minutes is enough. Educating as well as healthy. With Nutri-Aerobic, we are healthy, fit and excellent. That檚 what we expect from the event, added Aris.
Promote the importance of nutrition
Department of Nutrition with BEM FKM is also preparing an event on nutrition status measurement which is for the public. The public can understand their nutrition and health status with some equipments like a disc.
淲e also have some kind of disk, which can be use for self measurement. We just need to know our heigh and weight, we will know our nutrition status. Are we medium build or thin, or overweight. It can be measured easily, we will spread it to the public, said Aris.
At the moment, a plan on national breakfast movement is being prepared and centered in Surabaya which will be conducted in the middle of February. There will be breakfast events, seminars on the importance of breakfast with health tips, cooking breakfast contest, healthy food preparation contest, coloring contest and breakfast invitation in East Javanese contest for kids.
淚t will be implemented at least in UNAIR. So, we want to start a good culture of doing exercise and living healthily. After this successful launching, we will have roadshows to other areas and regions, said Aris. (*)
