UNAIR NEWS Bachelor student of Development Economics, Zeqi Mohammad Yasin has made a lot of achievements in competitions. He often takes part in academic competitions such as scientific writing and debates.
For student who is called Zeqi, his part in many competitions has given him many advantages. It gives him provisions for his after-college life in the future, priceless experience, and making new relations. Zeqi makes those competitions as his personal mood booster.
Zeqi never targets himself to be a winner in every competition he joins. He tries to be realistic and does not hope too much. The most important thing is maximizing his capability by trying his best. However, he regularly has a self evaluation after the competition.
淭here is no optimistic feeling in every competition, instead there is a fear of being too optimistic. I am afraid I will feel disappointed. The point is that I keep preparing myself to lose, said Zeqi, who was also the Outstanding Student of the Faculty of Economics and Business in 2015.
From 56 competitions he has joined, Zeqi has won half of them. His newest achievements are Best Presenter in 2017 International Conference Islamic and Financial and Inclusion, the first winner of 2016 National Paper Iqtishoduna, and the third winner of International Development Student Conference.
Then, who motivates him in joining those competitions? Zeqi answered that his friends in Association of Sharia Economic Studies (AcSES)and his mother are the people behind his achievements.
In his spare time, the man born on September 29, 1995 is keen on Korean drama, from Goblin to Descendant of The Sun. Furthermore, he also plays badminton.
淚 always intend everything for learning. Campus life is a crazy life but after that is even crazier. Even when my friends have their final exams, even have married, I still enjoy taking parts in competition. All for preparations after graduation, explained Zeqi who is busy finishing his thesis.
