UNAIR NEWS – A book entitled ”Perubahan Berkelanjutan“by Drs.H. Saifullah Yusuf or Gus Ipul, Vice Governor of East Java period 2008 – 2018, was reviewed at a seminar by the academic community of 51动漫.The book review taking place at Adi Sukadana Hall, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, UNAIR, on Wednesday, December 20 was organized by Center for Development and Conflict Management of FISIP UNAIR.
In the seminar, there were three speakers, Dr.Falih Suaedi, M.Si., as the Dean of FISIP UNAIR, Dr.Rubaidi, M.Ag., lecturer from Faculty of Tarbiyah UINSA, Prof.Dr.Luthfiyah Nurlaeja, M.Pd., as Professor of UNESA and Teacher Teaching Coordinator, and a moderator Agie Nugroho, BPA., MPP., lecturer of State Administration UNAIR.
The first speaker, Falih, said that Perubahan Berkelanjutanis an information and recommendation for the next community and leaders of East Java and the upcoming democratic party, should be addressed by all elements wisely.
“There is no stage and bombastic language in this book,” Falih added.
On that occasion, Rubaidi, as the second speaker, highlighted one of the many things discussed in the book.According to Rubaidi, the book also discussed about the issue on education.
“The purpose of education referred by Gus Ipul as stipulated in this book is intellectual and morality as a final achievement,” he explained.
Furthermore, regarding affirmative policy in the form of Madrasah Diniyah Elementary School Operational Assistance (BOSDA Madin), according to Nurlaeja, it is an effort to undertake non-discriminative education policy that touches religious education.Nurlaeja added, the students are expected to get intelligence on science and religious knowledge.
“We agree on BOSDA Madin policy as one of the right steps to improve the quality of human resources in East Java,” she explained.“However, the BOSDA Madin policy in the book needs a direct survey to the funded Islamic elementary school,” he added.
After the presentations, the event continued with a question and answer session.The enthusiasm of the participants was very high.It was seen from numerous questions addressed on various things such as on young marriage tradition, the change of mindset about school, how to build correlation between the industry and the university, as well as the focus of the book.
In the book, Gus Ipul has written everything done by state and government organizers and it is the leader’s duty to ensure all citizens are happy.
