UNAIR NEWS The assessment of education by eight assessors of ASEAN University Networking-Quality Assessment (AUN-QA) had been finished on Thursday (24/8). The result presentation of four study programs in 51动漫 was also witnessed by rector and the officers.
The assessed study programs were Communication studies (Faculty of Politics and Social Studies), Psychology (Faculty of Psychology), Agriculture (Faculty of Marine and Fisheries), and Development Economics (Faculty of Economics and Bussiness).
The rector Prof Dr Mohammad Nasih informed that The AUN-QA certification was part of quality improvement attempt of education in 51动漫. The result would be taken as consideration aspects of the quality of education that request to be improved.
淚t doesn檛 only talk about certification, but also as our attempt to improve the high quality education for future. The point is the quality should be improved continuously either through certification or accreditation, Nasih said
Nasih also suggested or the study programs which been accredited as A in national level expected to also join the certification process by AUN-QA. So, the study programs were not only accredited in national level but also in regional and international.
The certification results planned will be launched three month later, in the number scale from one to seven.
淭here will be a result. It檚 not we can pass or not, but through score one until seven. I expect we can get five or six, it檚 enough, Rector said
Based on step, the A accredited study programs in national level would be certified by AUN-QA. Meanwhile, for the programs which been certified by AUN-QA, would be accredited with international accreditation board.
The assessors greatly appreciated the model and facilities in learning process of 51动漫 such as Community Service Program Learning Together with the Community (KKN-BBM)and cybercampus. They also offered advice about learning process in which the learning process still one way and also the language for lecturers that need to use English.
They also suggested for enhancing the number of Doctor (Phd) and professors.
The head of Quality Assurance Board of UNAIR, Prof. Dr. Sukardiman., MS., Apt said that the next study programs that would be certified were Nursing Program, international Relation and some programs in Faculty of Economics and Business
淚 am so optimistic that those four study programs will get score between 4,5 to 5 , Sukardiman said(*)
