UNAIR NEWS Communications Program of 51动漫 should be proud of the achievements of its students.This time, one of the students of Communications program of 2014, Revindia Carina, will represent Indonesia in the international beauty pageant.
Revindia will represent Indonesia in the Miss Global Beauty Queen International 2017 which will be held in South Korea on 2-22 October 2017.
She was appointed after series of achievements she achieved.Most recently, Revi was crowned as Miss Tourism 2017 of East Java, Runner-up I Tourism Indonesia 2017, and Runner-up I Miss Coffee Indonesia 2017. For these achievements, Revi then appointed by Eljohn Indonesia Foundation to represent Indonesia in South Korea to compete with contestants from 45 countries around the world.
Revi confessed, she has learned a lot of things in Communications UNAIR and they are very useful in her career.According to her, studying in Communications program UNAIR is not only to study science, but also to use her knowledge to make achievements.
For her, competing in the beauty pageant is not enough with beauty.Girl born in Sidoarjo, June 13, 1995 is active in social activities .In campus, in 2016, she became one of the teaching volunteers forTeachingprogram.Outside her class, she joined an NGO called Friends of the Environment, Indonesian Maritime Youth Association, and the Association of Batik Nusantara Lovers.Revi is also active in her neighborhood檚 youth association in Magersari, Sidoarjo.
“Again it was all thanks to my study.I will not be able to do it without my knowledge.Communication studies have more pride when I introduce myself to people.I’m not just a student, but I can apply my knowledge at the same time, “she said.
About education and career, Revi puts forward the achievement from both of them.She believed that education and career can go hand in hand.For her, achievement is a virtue.
“The way to manage time is all from commitment.Because there檚 no priority from those two. Education is the most important, and achievement is the first.All go well together until now, “said Indonesian Miss Maritime Environment in 2015.
Revi admitted happy that she could lighten the burden of her parents for various achievements that she achieved.Plus, in college, she managed to get a Pertamina scholarship to finish university.
“I’m sure it’s all from millions of experiences.Because I am so grateful, I try to maintain, just manage the time.I even can manage it for work, “said the girl who is currently joined in the PR team of Faculty of Social and Political Science as well as an anchor on JTV.
Currently, Revi is preparing her departure to South Korea to compete with dozens of other participants.Many things she prepared, both physical preparation, mental, talent, until the costume.There, she will perform gandrung dance, typical dance of East Java.(*)
