UNAIR NEWS The most harmonious environment at Kecamatan Pare, Kabupaten Kediri (Kediri Regency) inspired Lisda Bunga Asih, an undergraduate student of Sociology UNAIR, to write it for her thesis.
Through the thesis whose tittle Perubahan Sosial Akibat Interaksi Antara Masyarakat Lokal dan Pendatang (Studi pada Perkembangan Kampung Inggris Desa Tulungrejo dan Desa Pelem Kecamatan Pare) Lisda achieved as best graduate of Faculty of Political and Social Sciences (FISIP) in September 2017 period.
In her thesis, she focused on social change of local community after the huge number of immigrants in two villages where well-known as English Village.
“In this thesis I linked the impact of globalization that affects the lives of rural communities to bring about changes of lifestyle, social relations in society and social control in the neighborhood of” English village, “said the GPA 3.87 achiever.
Lisa admitted that she was very happy in conducting her research because she could meet her parent.
My home is so near from English Village, I was able to do participative research by joining directly in community life of two villages through 2 weeks course at Desa Palem, Lisda said
The former leader of reasoning studies student club in 2016 provides recommendation steps to enhance the relation between communities to avoid losing characteristic of local people.
Because when a community has the harmonious atmosphere then the immigrant came to live, there must be a culture acculturation and loss of relationship between local people, She said
After graduates, she and her friend plan to build KPS (Komunitas Peneliti Sosial/ Social Researcher Community) that will be a place for researcher and researcher-want-to-be to improve skill of problem solving for community based on social research.
For the next, I expect for going abroad for my master degree. Gods speed. Exactly, to live the life we must have target and are able to have well management. Thats the point, She said (*)
