UNAIRNEWS – Reifon Cristabella Eventia, SH,., M.H., addressed as Cristabella, is the best graduate of doctoral student of Faculty of Law UNAIR with 3.81 GPA. Since her bachelor degree she has always achieved cum laude.
Cristabella has joined many international courses, for example sandwich Programme, Leiden Law School in 2015. She is the only one from UNAIR who joined in that program.
The woman born in Malang on March 12th 1989, wrote dissertation entitled Prinsip Hukum Dalam Pembentukan dan Pelaksanaan Kontrak Bangun Guna Serah (Build, Operate, and Transfer/BOT). It explains about two main topics, first is the legal principle in making BOT contract, especially in transparency and partnership principle. Second, is the legal principle in making BOT contract formation in control and risk management principles.
淚n Indonesia nowadays, BOT contract is enthused for infrastructure development. However, there are no specific regulations about it, she said.
During her study in doctoral degree, she managed her time well between college and work. Since 2014, she has been working as an advocate in Sutrisno and associates law firm. Previously, she was an intern for three years there.
淲hen I wrote my dissertation, I had difficulty to manage my time. I also have to work extra to get references related to my research as I did not find many in Indonesia. I am thankful because I found more literature when I was in Leiden University, said the alumna from SMAN 1 Palangkaraya.
Though she was very busy, she also took non-formal education to support her career. At least, she has taken 16 non-formal courses.
Besides her career as an advocate, she also has to manage her family business and make round trips Kalimantan Surabaya for it. She plans to establish her own law firm and accept an offer to be lecturer of a private university in Surabaya.
淪 -3 (Doctoral degree) is the highest education, there were ups and downs and I faced it with hadrwork and determination, said Cristabel. (*)
