UNAIR NEWS –Being one of the students at 51动漫, and accepted in the Faculty of Medicine is the dream of most people.This is a wonderful thing that is felt by Khafid, a freshman graduated from SMAN 1 Soko Mojokerto.
A student named Muhammad Khafidin Al Alim has long dreamed of being able to enter the Medicine program UNAIR.He had this dream since he was still in junior high school.His desire to be a doctor was supported with his noble intentions to help others.
“I am proud to be UNAIR’s student.The orientation was indeed tiring every day, but it was my process to become a doctor.Later if I become a doctor, I want to help many people who are in distress, “said Khafid.
Khafid was very happy and grateful.The struggle he made to get to UNAIR and get into Medicine was not easy.
Khafid had a difficult path to achieve it.Starting from joining organization in high school to increase experience in the field of organization, to follow various kinds of competition from the district level to the province.
One of his achievements was 1st Place of OSN in 2015. Khafid admitted that he loves being in a competition.He is skillful not only in one field.
“In a contest, I do not want to be only in one field only.I prefer to expand my vision.Sometimes I compete in biology, sometimes in physics, and other competitions I take math.Maybe that’s why I often failed in the semi-finals.But it’s okay, I gained experience, “said the student from Mojokerto.
Besides being UNAIR student through SBMPTN, Khafid is also one of the students receiving a bidikmisi scholarship.The son of Sujak and Tutik shared a moment about his family.His father, a thread factory employee, has been laid off, and his mother has not recovered from his diabetes until now.His mother must often go to the hospital to get treatment with BPJS card.In addition, his parents also bear one more child, the younger brother of Khafid who is still class I elementary school.
“I am very grateful to be here with a scholarship bidikmisi in the Faculty of Medicine.If not with this scholarship, my father cannot finance my college, ” he explained.
Mojosari-born man also promised, he was eager to continue his hobby to compete as student of UNAIR.Khafid wanted to fix the failures he had experienced in high school.He also has a strong desire to maintain his grade point average (IP) or even improve it more.
“Since I have been assisted by a bidikmisi scholarship then I have the spirit to live my life as a student.It’s state fund, then I have to take responsibility.I must make my parents proud and be a doctor who can help people, “explained Khafid in the end of the interview.
