Djoko Kurnijanto: Do not Hesitate to be Part of UNAIR

“At that time I thought UNAIR offered me something more flexible, especially on self-development.Furthermore, I was then believed in the great name of , “he added.“So I chose UNAIR,” the 1989 student added.

He is now at the peak of his career.He is trusted to become the International Director of OJK (Financial Services Authority).Achievements that, said Djoko, made from a long and difficult process.Some university programs and activities had their parts to achieve it.His extensive experience in several positions and fields of different jobs, after graduation, led to the positive things he achieved.

“So, during the eighth semester, when I worked on my thesis, I worked part-time in one of the public accounting firms.After that, I graduated and worked in one of the Japanese banks, Bank Sumitomo.Then, in 1996, I joined Bank Indonesia until the end of 2015, “he explained.“And, in January 2016 I fully joined the OJK,” he added.

Djoko revealed when he became a student, he felt that there were quite varied self-development offers in UNAIR.Not only academic, but also non-academic.Therefore, Djoko was active in campus organizations.

He was a student association head as well when he was at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UNAIR.The benefits of that experience, continued Djoko, were felt after he was graduated.
