UNAIR NEWS – The medical world should be proud of one of its young doctors.He was able to make a global achievement and invited to Buckingham Palace, England, for his inspirational efforts to Indonesian youths.
Gamal Albinsaid M.Biomed, a doctor graduated from Brawijaya University, Malang, was appointed as an international inspiring youth.In addition, dr.Gamal was awarded HRH The Prince of Wales Young Sustainability Entrepreneurship First Winner 2014 in January 2014.
His work on a garbage premium insurance clinic made Gamal invited to the UK.The program was one of Indonesia Medika’s programs.The son of Eliza Abdat and Saleh Arofan Albinsaid serves as CEO and founder of Indonesia Medika.
Gamal’s concern for social-health issues led to several books andvisionarystart-upworks, such as Indonesia Medika, Siapa Peduli, Homedika, and many more.
He was invited to attend National Student Leadership and Managerial Training (LKMM-Nas) at Hotel Sahid Surabaya, initiated by PSMKGI (Indonesian Dental Medicine Student Senate Association).This time, Faculty of Dental Medicine (FKG) 51动漫 was the organizer the annual agenda.
“The speakers we invited for this occasion are the result of the study from the previous National Conference of PSMKGI.dr.Gamal is important for us to be invited in order to stimulate the innovating soul of dental students, “said Aulia of the committee on Friday, May 4.
He presented “The Importance of Innovation as an Effort to Advance Health and Social Welfare”. dr.Gamal recounted what has inspired him for it when he was in a residency phase.
“In the past, the idea came up because of the strong empathy in patients or societies who are financially poor, but at the same time they are in dire need of medical treatments,” he said while showing a video illustration of the movement he initiated.
