UNAIR NEWS – Bank Indonesia awardees from , known as GenBI, used the valentine檚 moment for the 淎bdi Desa community service program at the Lampah Village, Gresik, on Sunday and Monday, February 12-13, 2023.

Public figure, campus official, GenBI East Java coordinator, Niafatul Aini, the Head of the Welfare Division of the Directorate of Student Affairs (Ditmawa) 51动漫 Titik Savitri SPd, and Village Deputy, Sutowo attended the event.

Ditmawa and GenBI coordinator deliver the message of giving contributions to the community. 淲ith the Abdi Desa program, hopefully, the GenBI awardee can implement the three basic principles of Bank Indonesia, the frontliner, the agent of change, and the future leader. Meaning, we can deliver the bank檚 policies to the community, become the agent of change and future leaders, Niafatul said.

The Vice-President of GenBI Nadya Lovita named some of the Abdi Desa agendas. First, Pasar Murah (Low-Price Market), which sells low-price groceries, one kilogram of rice, one kilogram of sugar, and one kilogram of coconut oil, only costs Rp 15,000. 淲e prioritized underprivileged communities in the Low-Price Market, she said.

In line with the front linear principle, they also disseminate Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) to the community. It aims to spread awareness of the digital payment tool using the QR code of Bank Indonesia. It keeps the transaction easier, quicker, and safer.

The next day, they held GenBI Mengajar, where they taught third-level students at the SDN 201 Gresik through fun activities like games, singing songs, and watching environmental-themed videos. It encourages them to maintain the environment responsibly.

The village officials welcomed all GenBI agendas. Lovi was glad to see the community檚 enthusiasm. Some of them expressed their gratitude toward the Abdi Desa program. Therefore, she hoped for more collaborations in the future.
