BBK 7 Jatidukuh implements SIAP SEHAT and CERMAT programs to support SDG 3

Students from 51¶¯Âþ™s Community Learning Program (BBK) Group 7 in Jatidukuh carried out two integrated initiatives in education and health on Monday, January 19, 2026, at SMP Negeri 3 Gondang, Mojokerto Regency. The programs, SIAP SEHAT (Iron Supplementation and Education for Healthy Adolescents) and CERMAT (Smart Education on Reproductive and Mental Health) were conducted with guidance from the Kalikatir village midwife representing the Gondang Community Health Center along with support from the school™s teachers.

The activities began with the SIAP SEHAT program, which involved distributing iron supplementation tablets (TTD) to all female students at SMP Negeri 3 Gondang. Implemented in collaboration with the Gondang Community Health Center and supervised by a healthcare worker, the initiative aimed to maintain stable hemoglobin levels among adolescent girls and prevent anemia, particularly for those who have begun menstruation. This program aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3, Good Health and Well-Being, which emphasizes improving public health, especially among vulnerable groups such as adolescents prone to iron deficiency.

The program continued with CERMAT, an interactive educational session for ninth-grade students on reproductive and mental health. The materials covered fundamental concepts of reproductive and mental health, strategies to maintain well-being, and the importance of self-awareness in navigating adolescent challenges. The session also included discussions and a question-and-answer segment to encourage active student participation.

CERMAT supports the achievement of SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) and SDG 4 (Quality Education) by delivering relevant, high-quality education tailored to students™ developmental needs. The principal of SMP Negeri 3 Gondang and the Kalikatir village midwife expressed appreciation for the program™s implementation. Through SIAP SEHAT and CERMAT, BBK 7 Jatidukuh students aimed to increase awareness among students about the importance of reproductive and mental health while supporting optimal red blood cell production to support healthy adolescent development.
