Human health problems due to the consumption of carcasses containing residues of tetracycline were main global problems in the context of fight against antimicrobial resistance phenomena. Explanation of Sustained Development Goals (SDGs) especial at point 3 as a healthy life is known that all animal products for human consumption must be clean and clear. To designing the prototype  of Rapid Test Devices (RTD) for detected residues tetracycline in carcass.

Samples of  five poultry carcasses containing tetracycline  were tested using prototype of a strong reaction solution to fixation of tetracycline using principle bonded by ion Fe(III) at atom O in position atom C-1 at the ring of tetracycline and ion N+ as functional branch of tetracycline. Assessment of  RTD detection using yellow color presentation, with absorbance spectrometric method wavelength of  237 nm. Result research to obtain optimum fixed tetracycline residue was using reagents for chemical reactions to be adjusted as follows; HCl and H2SO4 dissolved in H2O chromatographic grade of 0.1 N and  0.5 N of HNO3, 1% of Fe(III) Cl. The limit of detection (LOD) of RTD showed  was higher  then spectrophotometer UV-Vis.

The conclusion of this research showed that RTD as designed in this research, significantly can be used to detect the residue at LOD 44.764 μg/mL during 120 min to expose by  Light-Emitting Diode at 980 nm wavelength (p <0.05). The requirement for used RTD was to be attended limitation of the devices.
