UNAIR NEWS “ The Academic and Student Enhancement Society (AcSES) of Faculty of Economics and Business, (UNAIR), hosted a virtual webinar featuring Royhan Saydi, founder of ANSA Academy, on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. The session, part of the external scientific writing series (KBKTI Eksternal), explored effective strategies for developing scientific papers. Saydi highlighted the importance of generating ideas through observing real-world problems and supporting them with reliable data.
Practical writing guidelines
Saydi outlined practical steps for composing a well-structured scientific paper. He encouraged participants to organize their writing logically and to craft an abstract that clearly summarizes the objectives, methodology, findings, and conclusions. He also stressed the need to include valid data in the introduction and use credible references in the literature review. Selecting research methods that align with the research problem, he added, is crucial for ensuring accurate analysis. Furthermore, he reminded writers to apply the SMART principles, specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and time-bound, to make their work more focused, coherent, and meaningful.
