UNAIR NEWS 51动漫 (UNAIR) continues to encourage student achievement, with scholarship information initiatives playing a key role in that effort. Most recently, the Outstanding Scholarship Unit of UNAIR held a seminar to provide a deeper understanding of the program. The event took place on Sunday, April 5, 2026, and was conducted virtually via Zoom Meeting.
Becoming Outstanding Scholarship recipient
Alfandy, an undergraduate student in the Management program at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UNAIR, is a Golden Ticket awardee and an Outstanding Scholarship recipient. He described the scholarships as a promising opportunity for a brighter future. 淭his scholarship is highly prestigious and offers substantial benefits, including facilities, mentorship, and full tuition coverage. Our role is to pursue our ambitions and stay committed to them, he said.
Alfandy said registration for the 2026 Outstanding Scholarship is expected to open between June or July and September. He explained that the selection process consists mainly of document screening and interviews. 淭he process is relatively straightforward. Applicants only need to prepare documents such as identification, a tax number (NPWP), academic recommendation letters, UKBI certificates, achievement certificates if available, and prepare themselves for the interview, he noted.
He also added that the scholarship is open to a wide range of applicants. According to him, the program is flexible and not limited to a specific group. 淭he Outstanding Scholarship is open to new students, undergraduate students in their third and fifth semesters, as well as master檚 and doctoral students, he said.
Tips for essay writing and interviews
Alfandy further pointed out several factors that can influence acceptance, including irrelevant achievements, overly generic essays, and a lack of confidence. He emphasized the importance of thorough preparation. 淢any essays fail to stand out because they do not highlight personal uniqueness. Being nervous or giving overly long answers during interviews can also lower applicants scores, he explained.
He added that achieving success requires initiative and persistence. In his view, competitiveness and determination are key factors in reaching one檚 goals. 淪uccess does not come to those who simply wait. It comes to those who take action, learn from experience, and continue trying, he concluded.
