UNAIR strengthens global career pathways through partnership with CamGlobal Inc

UNAIR NEWS Continuing its discussions with CamGlobal, Airlangga Global Engagement (AGE) of (UNAIR) held a strategic meeting to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the company. The signing took place on Friday (August 29, 2025) at the Amerta Hall, 4th floor of UNAIR檚 MERR-C Campus Management Office.

AGE Deputy Director Dr. Dina Septiani explained that the collaboration was first initiated in May. She highlighted Mintoku Messe, a job-matching platform designed to connect international students with internship opportunities in Japan.

淭oday檚 agenda is to advance discussions on the Mintoku Messe platform for UNAIR students and alumni with CamGlobal. We are also exploring post-employment Japanese language training programs and discussing CamGlobal檚 involvement in ACESFA this October, she said.

Also present at the event, CamGlobal Inc. Chief Executive Officer Kohji Mitsuishi expressed his appreciation for the partnership with UNAIR. 淲e are truly grateful for the establishment of Japanese language classes at the university at our request, he noted.

Mitsuishi emphasized that the program offers significant opportunities to expand career prospects for students across various fields. He added that CamGlobal will also provide scholarships. 淲e will support their daily needs. Moreover, these classes will be open to all university students. We hope they will become a hub for Japanese language education in Surabaya, he said.

CamGlobal Inc. Chief Advisor Masahiro Tanaka outlined the program檚 framework. He explained that the company will reach students through career fairs and online seminars, which will then connect them with career advisors.

淔rom there, students can consult with our advisors through our website or social media. In the future, we are developing a dedicated application that will allow students to communicate directly with our advisors. Within the platform, they will be able to explore job openings and internship programs, while our advisors provide interview practice and CV feedback, he explained.

After completing training and interview stages, students will move on to visa applications and Japanese language courses. 淥nce both steps are completed, which typically takes four to five months, students will be officially placed at companies in Japan and prepared to begin their careers, he added.
