UNAIR NEWS Among 2,018 graduation ceremony participants in March 2017Airlangga, there was Fatma Ayu Husnasari, 2017 East Java檚 Miss Indonesia. Fatma, her nickname, was there with 1,010 graduates, taking part in graduation procession held at Airlangga Convention Center, Sunday (12/3).
Fatma graduated from bachelor program, Law Department, Faculty of Law, UNAIR 2013 generation. She took 3.5 years to finish her study.
During college, not only did Fatma succeed in collecting women-related achievements, but also in every other competitions she joined. At the Faculty of Law, in 2014, Fatma was the second best acclaimed student. The next year, Fatma won the third place.
The 173 cm girl was once entitled Diajeng Kota Blitar (Miss Blitar). She was a Top Guest finalist held by a publishing company in 2012. Moreover, Fatma was Wajah Femina semifinalist in 2016. She also starred in some advertisements, one of them was in a telecommunication operator.
Fatma stated that both academic and non-academic had to go together. 淎part from sharpening our competitiveness academically,we have to develop our soft-skills, explained East Java檚 Miss Indonesia.
Fatma has her own way in dealing with her achievements. For her, achievements are the sweet result of a long preparation and prime performance. In addition, the achievements will be useful when she implement her knowledge in real life later.
淪tudy hard. Keep trying because building spirit starts from ourselves. The important thing is you know your destination and how to get there, explained Fatma.
Nowadays, Fatma is preparing herself for 2017 Miss Indonesia competition. She is focusing in getting knowledge, doing mental, and physical preparation. The most important thing for her is to represent East Java women, the territory she is going to represent in the competition.
