FEB Student Organizations Transfer of Authority, Ready to Serve Together

UNAIR NEWS The voice of vows from the students organization (ormawa) Faculty of Economics and Business 51 could be heard one after another from the Fajar Notonegoro Auditorium. Their voice shook the auditoriums walls. Friday (17/02), all students organizations FEB UNAIR started a new page, marked by transfer of authority and inauguration. After taking a vow, the last students organization heads gave their post to the students organization heads of the present period.

This year see two new students organization namely Capital Market Study Group (KSPM) and Accounting Magister, so in total there are 15 students organizations altogether. Fajar Pratomo, Head of BEM FEB UNAIR welcomed Accounting Magister program and congratulated all students organization boards who had served FEB UNAIR.

Know the reason why we are here and ask yourselves why you are here, not what or how. Actually the essence of serving is you dedicate yourself through students organizations for the nation. Be a model, facilitator for those in need, explained Fajar.

The same thing was stated by Prof. Dr. Dian Agustia, SE., M.Si., Ak., as the Dean of FEB UNAIR. She wished students organization boards always remembered their alma mater. In addition, their programs and activities must refer to UNAIR visions.

Everything must refer to our university visions. Coordination with FEB is also critical, explained Prof. Dian.

Adding to what the Dean had said, one of students organization managing boards, Yolanda Ulfi stated that she hoped students organization would post more interesting, objective and energetic activities.

Responsibilities are priority. Keep humble, though, she concluded.
