UNAIR NEWS –This time, news of Ksatria Airlangga achievements is coming from the Student Association of Political Science program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, 51动漫.In the congress of Student Association of Political Sciences Indonesia III taking place from September 26 to October 3, 2017 at the University of Syiah Kuala, Banda Aceh, delegates from Political Science UNAIR student association has won the second place in Essay Competition with their work themed “Local Wisdom Aceh in the Frame of NKRI “.
The delegates from were M. Bagus Balghi (2014), Iga Ayu Rizka F. (2014), M. Ikvin Rosyadi (2014), Cici Jeny P. (2015), and Indra Widyanto (2015). The five delegations presented the simultaneous election of regional heads (Pilkada) proclaimed by the central government with a focus on development at the local level.
The congress of Student Association of Indonesian Political Science III pened by the Chairman of the People’s Consultative Assembly, Dr.(HC) Zulkifli Hasan, SE, MM., also discussed the special autonomy existing in Aceh as a form of national identity.
“The agenda held every year is also a place to choose the new Chairman of HIMAPOL Indonesia and determine which universities are entitled to host the next Congress,” said M. Bagus Balghi as delegation representatives.
Regarding the determination to host the grand event, Bagus and the team strive to introduce UNAIR, from the geographic, social and political aspects so UNAIR can host the event the next year.
“Why does UNAIR have the right to host?Because geographically, the location of UNAIR is located in the central part of Indonesia and becomes the axis for the area in the west and east.So the accessibility of UNAIR itself is easy to reach, ” he explained.
Furthermore, to convince all congress participants, Bagus and team also explained about social aspect of Surabaya society which is plural,easygoing, and friendly.It was the basis for introduction to the wider community.

Through these aspects, UNAIR is agreed to host to the biggest event for the students of Political Science in Indonesia, namely the Congress of the Indonesian Political Science Student Association IV in 2018.
