UNAIR NEWS The Entrepreneurship and Career Coaching Center (PPKK) 51动漫 in cooperation with BNI and OCBC Banks held a workshop at the Room of Soetandyo Wignyosoebroto Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Tuesday (7/3). The workshop, entitled Preparing Yourself to Enter the Working World, was held with the aim to furnish the students with skills before entering the working world.
To share skills with the students, a series of materials were given at the two day workshop. One of them is about 淓ntrepreneur Mindset which was presented by Dr. Elly Munadziroh as the Chairman of PPKK UNAIR.
Considering the importance of performance in a work interview, the Coordinator of Cooperation Section PPKK UNAIR, Dr. Intan Innayatun Suparna, S.H., M.Hum., presented a material on 淟ooking Smart for an Interview. While Christiyani Prastyowati from Human Capital Relationship Management OCBC presented about 淥ur Challengers.
Besides those, there was also a material on 淭o be Effectively and Strategically Successful on an Interview which was presented by Tjarda Muchtar, the AVP of Human Capital System BNI Jakarta. On the first day the event was closed by sharing and transmission of experience by the alumni of FISIP.
On the second day, the students were given skills to write an application letter and Curriculum Vitae (CV), as well as joined a Role Play Assessment.
There were no less than 300 participants attended the workshop. Most of them were final year students who were working on their final essay or waiting for the graduation day. This workshop is a PPKK檚 routine agenda which takes form of a roadshow from one faculty to another in UNAIR environment.
Elly in her speech said that this routine agenda is to supply skills to the students to compete with graduates from other universities.
淭his event is held because graduation day is coming, and to supply skills to UNAIR students to compete with other graduates when entering the working world. If we don檛 prepare ourselves, then we will lose against other universities, she affirmed.
Also present and opened the event was the Vice Dean I of FISIP Prof. Dr. Budi Prasetyo, Msi. 淎fter graduated, don檛 always be oriented to find a job, but also to be an entrepreneur, he said. (*)
