UNAIR NEWS “The semester has ended. From 17 December to the early 2018, elementary to high school students have holiday season.Many things can be done to spend school holidays and end of the year holiday. One of them is for high school students to fill the holidays by doing campus visits.
For the holiday season, 51¶¯Âþ is often flooded with visits from high school students from various regions.During this holiday season, there were already some visits from various high schools, such as SMAN Tanjunganom Nganjuk, SMAN Karangbinangun Lamongan, SMAN 21 Surabaya, SMAN 1 Sumberjo Bojonegoro, and MAN Kandangan Kediri.In fact, there were even nine students from different high schools in Pontianak visited UNAIR without their schools™ officials.
In this regard, Anindya Anindita S.I. Kom, one of the staffs of Information and Public Relations Center (PIH) UNAIR who is in charge of the high school visits said that during the holiday season, the number of visits UNAIR increases.
“The holiday season is the right time. High school students take advantage of this holiday season to visit universities while at the same time visit tourist attractions, ” she explained.
Furthermore, according to Anin, the visits will go on until the registration period of State University National Admission Selection (SNMPTN).In fact, she added, it will continue until the National Akhri Examination (UAN) is around.
“High school student visits will continue until SNMPTN is around.They are not only from class XII only, but some are in class XI and even class X, ” she explained.
Regarding numerous high school student visits during the holiday season, Head of PIH UNAIR Dr.Suko Widodo, M.Si., said that it is one of UNAIR’s efforts to provide the best information service.
“From year to year, the number of high school visits increases.It is a proof that UNAIR is a public body which provides complete information about college life, “he explained.“And those who visit are satisfied and helped,” he said.
