UNAIR NEWS General Secretary of Central Indonesian Doctor Association (IDI), dr. M. Adib Kumaidi, Sp.OT., visited Faculty of Medicine 51动漫 and engraved his name in FK UNAIR Alumni Inscription. M Adib Kumaidi is one of 150 alumni of FK UNAIRclass of 1992-1993, who visited UNAIR on Saturday, April 2.
Even though he lives in Jakarta, this 1992 alumnus was excited to come and relive memories with his friends. There was a great discussion regarding latest issues in medical field such as Medical Specialist Compulsory Practice, Primary Service Doctor (DLP).
This inscription was made official by Dean FK UNAIR Prof. Dr. Soetojo, dr., Sp.U(K), witnessed by UNAIR Rector Prof. Dr. H. Mohammad Nasih, SE., MT., Ak., CMA., Chairman of IKA FK Dr. Pudjo Hartono, dr., Sp.OG(K), Vice Rector II Dr. Mohammad Madyan, and other guests.
This inscription of three classes will complement the faculty inscription on the campus wall since the first class of NIAS (Netherlands Indische Artsen School) era in 1923. NIAS was established in 1913.
The inscription was made for them who have finished learning at this campus as doctors. This inscription show graduates names of NIAS, Djakarta Ika Dai Gaku (during Japanese occupation), also FK UNAIR.
UNAIR Rector Prof. Moh Nasih in his speech appreciated positively this tradition. There are at least two meanings. First, historically, alumni will always remember their alma mater. Second, as alumni inscribed, they will maintain reputation of the alma mater especially when the alumni also affect the university ranking, as in employer reputation.

漈herefore, we want to send a message to build the alma mater together, so the good and the bad of the university can be seen from its alumni and their professions, said UNAIR Rector.
Chairman of IKADr. Pudjo Hartono, dr., Sp.OG(K) encouraged all alumni to be grateful as their names engraved on the campus wall. He also asked them to remember their alma mater and maintain its good name and keep professional.
Dean of FK UNAIR Prof. Soetojo also expected the alumni contribution to support the alma mater in achieving the target to be Top 500 World Class University. 淭herefore, FK is ready to be the driving force to achieve it, said the Professor of FK UNAIR. (*)
