Indonesian Ambassador To Denmark Presents Donation and Discusses Collaboration with UNAIR

UNAIR NEWS– An alumnus of 51动漫 has an obligation to participate in the alma mater檚 development.It was stated by LBBP (Exception and Plenipotentiary) Indonesian Ambassador to Denmark Muhammad Ibn Said during his visit to UNAIR on Monday, December 4.

During the visit, Ibnu who is an alumnus of Faculty of Law UNAIR 1979 expressed his pride to be part of UNAIR.He believes that there is a responsibility for him to support the university.

“There is an obligation for me to support UNAIR to be aworld class university.As an Indonesian ambassador to Denmark I feel obliged to participate in the advancement of UNAIR, “said Ibnu.

Ibnu檚 visit with his staff was welcomed by UNAIR Rector.

UNAIR will collaborate with universities in Denmark such as the University of Copenhagen, the Technical University of Denmark, and Aarhus University.

From these meeting, possible field of collaboration covers tropical diseases,pharmaceuticalstart-ups, anddrugs research.The collaboration will involve the entire academic community from both sides, in UNAIR and Denmark.

The Rector of UNAIR Prof., Dr., H. Mohammad Nasih, SE., MT., Ak., CMA., gave a positive response to the visit.He stated that he also expected more collaboration in the future.

“This collaboration will soon be followed up.We have a product that can be developed with universities in Denmark, ” he explained.

Aside from the costs, Prof., Nasih revealed that there are no significant obstacles.“If it’s a matter of skill, we’re ready.The main obstacle to Europeis the distance.It maycosta lot, ” he added.

Besides discussing the possibility of collaboration, the visit was also conducted to present donation from Danish Association of Indonesian Students (PPI-DK) for Gunung Agung disaster.Prof. Nasih stated that the donation will soon be given to the parties in need.

Prof. Nasih added that the donation is not necessarily for the victims of Gunung Agung disaster.The aid can also be given to flood victims in Pacitan.In essence, the aid can reach the parties in need.

“We will send and coordinate soon.If Gunung Agung is too far, maybe we can send it to Pacitan which is closer and more simple.We will soon forwarded it to people who need it, “explained Prof. Nasih.(*)
