In an effort to contribute to create one’s ideal body, 51¶¯Âþ™s students has found new drink product as a companion to diet program.The drink is called”ÌýJelly Exterminator ObesityÌý“(JLEB) a drink that comes with a unique packaging made of aloe vera harmless to the body.This companion drink is preservative free without the use of artificial sweeteners.
51¶¯Âþ students involved in this creativity are Revien Dwi Nuarinta, Parida Listiana, Rizka Anggraini, Dita Permatasari, and Rahmandita Putri.They wrote it in a proposal of Student Creativity Program of Entrepreneurship (PKMK), and has passed the assessment to obtain developmental fund in 2016-2017 Kemenristekdikti PKM program.
Explained by Revien Dwi Nuarinta, the process of making JLEB is quite easy because it only uses aloe vera as the main material that is chewy textured like jelly that can make us feel full even without eating rice in a lot of portion.Its sweet taste is obtained from a mixture of sugar and honey.Sugar composition with honey serves as one way to get a unique blend of sweet taste and can reduce the levels of calories absorbed by the body.
The JLEB PKM team has marketed its products to various areas in Surabaya.This product has the potential to generate a promising advantage.
“Current JLEB beverage business has made Rp 1,500,000 / month revenue.Our hope in the future, JLEB product is able to grow and can be marketed in various regions in Indonesia so it is well distributed like other popular beverage products, “said Revien, head of the PKM Team.
The basic ingredient, aloe vera plants are easily obtained from plantations in the area of ‹‹Kediri, so for the sustainability of JLEB production process, they have to move fast as the aloe vera will quickly decompose.In addition, when this product has become a drink in the cup, it must also immediately be marketed.
JLEB beverage products are resistant for three days outside the refrigerator, and will last for five days in the refrigerator.Consumption period is relatively fast because JLEB products do not use artificial preservatives.
“Hopefully this drink will open our insight that diet should not be with pills, extra gymnastics, or insisted not to eat.Because by eating JLEB alone is able to replace enough calories that a person needs, “said Revien.(*)
