UNAIR NEWS There were many activities of UNAIR students to celebrate Kartini檚 Day last April 21. One of them was in Faculty of Vocations (FV) UNAIR. The students enthusiastically celebrate Kartini檚 Day with a taglineKartini Cahaya Terkini.
淥ur motto was Simple but Effective. From the togetherness, we wanted to follow in Kartini檚 footsteps to inspire the nation檚 struggle, said Ali Mustofa, the Head of BEM FV during interview.
He said that there were some activities held last April 21. They were Tree of Hope making around this faculty. The trees were located on first, second and third floor of the building, students slipped their dreams at the tree. They were free to write any dreams, on academics, achievements, personal development even about their future destined spouse.
The theme which was Adakah yang Lebih Hina, Daripada Bergantung Pada Orang lain?, aimed to motivate the students to dare to dreams and then later live independently.
The D3 Radiology student said that students of FV have been prepared with unique skills. Therefore, they should be able to perform and work in the community, to contribute and give advantages for other.
Other than the colorful trees, FV also held photography competition. 淗opefully, through this moment of Kartini檚 Day, the academicians can be better in quality day after day, he said. (*)
