UNAIR NEWS Department of Community Service BEM FEB hosted community service event Kita Peduli (We Care) on Saturday (4/11). This annual event is an event of mutual concern, especially FEB UNAIR students to the local people who deserve appreciation, even though they live in deficiencies.
“The core of this activity is spirit of sharing for students who are supposed to be integral with the community. Hopefully Kita Peduli 2017 can provide benefits and reflect for community concern, “said Fajar Pratomo, as Chairman of BEM FEB UNAIR 2017 in his speech.
The event was also enlivened by performances by Parents with Down Syndrome Children Community (POTADS), Blind Children’s Education Foundation (YPAB), Walkers Music Community, Macoustic, and ITS Jazz. Not only that, various communities such as Sugar Glider Lover Indonesia, Snakes, Owls, and civet.
It took place at front yard of Management Master Program (MM) UNAIR campus B. In this bazaar atendee enjoy buy some foods and goods from many vendors who most of them are elder seller.
The enthusiast of attendee not only came from students of UNAIR, but also from other attendee. There was also Remo traditional performance of POTADS kids to welcome the attendee.
Lilik as a vice leader of POTADS explained that the student of POTANDS has trained Remo dance for their performance in Kita Peduli event
We have trained for 6 months; usually we train every Saturday at PK3S Tenggilis. FEB students fully supported us by visiting us while trained Remo dance, Lilik said
In addition to Remo dance, they also performed baby shark dance and free dance.
The children from YPAB also provided performance by playing anklung instrument with various genre songs.
According to me, this event is really has many advantages and need to be held again, Riza Khoiriyah said, an attendee of the event
