Nganjuk Government Continues Partnership with UNAIR

UNAIR NEWS揘ganjuk Regent Drs. H. Taufiqurrahman with other Nganjuk officials have made a visit toAirlangga on Wednesday, May 10. The visit was made to strengthen ties between both institutions. The delegates were received directly by UNAIR Rector Prof Nasih, in his room, Management Office Building, Campus C UNAIR.

Both institutions have collaborated together before as UNAIR sent its students in Community Service Program – Learning Together with the Community (KKN-BBM) in Nganjuk. Taufiq through this visit hoped to establish more collaboration in education, economics and health.

淔irst, we want to strengthen ties from the established partnership. Twice a year, UNAIR sent its students to conduct KKN in Nganjuk, said Taufiq to UNAIR NEWS after the meeting with UNAIR Rector.

In the field of economics, Taufiq hoped there will be guidance to formulate regional budgets (APBD) of Nganjuk government. The guidance is conducted by Faculty of Economics and Business lecturers, especially on Accounting.

In the field of Health, he hoped to consult regarding the limited medical specialist in Nganjuk. Through this partnership, Taufiq hoped the government services to the community are improved.

淭his extension of MoU is expected to improve our services for the community in education, health and economics. Furthermore, regarding KKN, we can get direct response from the community through students who conduct KKN in Nganjuk, he added.
