UNAIR NEWS In 2017, Ulul Azmi Mosque in Campus C of 51动漫 is a year old. Festivities for its first anniversary has been started even before the Ramadan.
There are some events to celebrate the anniversary of Ulul Azmi Mosque, such as blood donation, salawat night, book bazaar, great tabligh, until Lailatul Qiraah after the second tarawih on Saturday, May 27.
In the event full of holy verses recitation, Afri Andiarto S.M., as the mosque youth activist said that it was the first time held in 51动漫. Afri also said that there were some recitations by UNAIR students in Religious Arts Club (UKM-SR).
淲e expect prayers from the audience as some of these students will be UNAIR representatives in National MTQ in Malang, said Afri, the supervisor of UKM-SR.
Vice Rector III UNAIR Prof. Mochammad Amin Alamsjah, Ir., M.Si., Ph.D was attending. In his address, Amin quoted the Prophet Muhammad on the reward of giving good examples will be given as the others do as the example. Prof. Amin also mentioned student movements often exploited by practical politics. He then encouraged the congregation to do their best for this year檚 Ramadan.
淚t is our chance to do good deeds as I am sure our deeds are mostly for present life not after. Alhamdulillah Allah gives us opportunity with Ramadan to balance our deeds in this short life, he stated.
