UNAIR NEWS – “One FEB, Airlangga Jaya.Our concern is one, to build the nation”.It is the statement echoed by Dean of Faculty of Economics and Business, 51动漫 Prof.Dr.Dian Agustia, SE., M.Si., Ak., CMA., CA, in Campus Life Introduction for Freshmen (PKKMB).
PKKMB FEB named PIKMEN (Intellectual and Togetherness Week of Economics and Business Students) was held from 9 – 11 August 2018. PIKMEN is the main medium for freshmen to know values 媼and culture in FEB.
PKKMB which begins with pre, D day and post PIKMEN, has its own uniqueness.This PIKMEN takes the theme of ‘PUNAKAWAN’ which consists of 4 figures, Petruk, Gareng, Semar, and Bagong.The four figures described four programs at FEB with different backgrounds but are put together in PIKMEN.
In PIKMEN, freshmen were introduced to Higher Education Tri Dharma. In college, the activities of academicians are not only about education, but also research and community service.
“PIKMEN instills Higher Education Tri Dharma, not only focus on academics but also the problems of society.Hopefully students can becomeagents of changein the community, “said Rizky Ananda Putra, Head of 2018 BEM FEB .
In PIKMEN, the material provided included, first, thesenseof belongingto enhance the sense of love and pride in FEB.Second, professionalism, so that students can be professional in carrying out their roles and obligations as students with all the consequences.Third, proactive critical thinking, so students can respond correctly to a problem.
“When we talk about students, it is very closely related to youth.Talking to young people is close to idealism.Idealism is the last luxury possessed by youth.And it is the ideal 媼held by students to maintain idealism, “Rizky added.
At the end of the event, freshmen did a community service in the area around the campus.They made a vertical gardenin FEB letter form FEB.In addition, there was business plan competition among groups PIKMEN.
“Alhamdulillah, through PIKMEN they can get new things to be used as guidelines during the course of lectures from various speakers,” said Ika Wahyuningtyas, a freshman of Development Economics program.(*)
