(14/6/2023) | Students of the Faculty of Law, 51动漫, often win national competitions, as was recently experienced by the national law debate delegation sent by one of the BSO FH UNAIR, namely the Airlangga Young Jurist Society (MYMA), Dr. Mochtar Riady Law Week 2023 organized by the Law Faculty of Pelita Harapan University in Tangerang won 2nd place. The delegation consists of Angelica Milano Aryani Wibisono (2021), Rindang Syafa’at (2020), Gilbert Rayhan (2020), Alissa Angelia (2021), Bryan Owen Soeprapto (2021), Regetta Riyanti (2021).
Legal debate competition Dr. Mochtar Riady Law Week 2023 will be held from 27 May to 10 June 2023 with a hybrid implementation, where the competition this time carries the theme “Redefining Public Policy in Ensuring Sustainable Economic Development: Road to Indonesia 2045 Development Agenda,” in which several motions including business law. Dr. Mochtar Riady Law Week is not the first time the MYMA FH UNAIR delegation has participated in this competition. Still, it has been several times, which is why UNAIR FH is participating in this competition again in 2023.
“The difficulties encountered during the preparation for the competition this time were the time distribution, which was also the domination of the batch in this delegation from 2021, the density of lectures, and the preparation for the semifinals were missed during the Even Semester Final Examination period, so this is a challenge in itself. Said Angelica Milano the head of the delegation for this competition.
After successfully winning 2nd place, Angelica Milano, as the head of the delegation representing her team, expressed her joy and pride at being able to win this championship but did not close her eyes to keep learning and trying so that she would not be easily complacent about the achievements that have been achieved this time. In the future, it will increase even better.
淔or all FH UNAIR students, don’t be afraid to try new things because if we have tried it, we will know whether the answer is successful. However, if we don’t try at all, we will never know the results we get forever,” concluded Angelica Milano.
