(14/6/2023) | UNAIR FH students often take part in national-level competitions, as was attended by a delegation from one of the BSO FH UNAIR, namely the Airlangga Young Jurist Society (MYMA) in Dr. Mochtar Riady Legal Week 2023, organized by Pelita Harapan University, Tangerang. This competition starts from 8 to 10 June 2023, with a delegation consisting of Istifahani Nuril Fatiha (2020), Amilah Fadhlina (2020), Kharisma Putri Wardani (2020), Alvin Hervansyah (2022) with the working title “Legal Construction of Deep Seabed Mining in Indonesia: Economic Development Strategy Towards the World Maritime Axis.
The reason for this delegation to take part in the Scientific Writing competition was Dr. Mochtar Riady Legal Week 2023 because this competition is a national scale competition participated by several well-known universities in Indonesia, as well as an increase in soft skills in the field of writing, besides that, this competition has the theme “Redefining Public Policy In Ensuring Sustainable Economic Development: Road To Indonesia 2045 Development Agenda so that the theme has an exciting relationship under Indonesia’s 2045 vision, namely a sustainable economy.
“On the other hand, writing is an interesting thing; we are constrained in the preparation of work, which besides the lecture agenda, which is quite dense, also coincides with Eid Al-Fitr, so in preparing it, we have limited time to work on it, so this has become a special difficulty for our delegation. , said Amila.
As many as 25 teams participated from universities in Indonesia, were selected to leave several teams that could present their writing results; this delegation won “Best Paper” with an assessment of having exciting and innovative content.
