The construction of the Pringgodigdo Building is no longer a discourse. The building, planned to be built with a height of 14 floors, has entered the initial stage of development, namely the signing of a contract. On Wednesday (1/2/2023) at the ASEEC Tower, the Dean of the Faculty of Law, 51动漫 (FH UNAIR), Iman Prihandono S.H., M.H., LL.M., Ph.D., attended the contract signing agenda between the Senior Vice President of the Division PT PP (Persero) Building Operations, Andek Prabowo, and UNAIR Construction and Consulting Services Commitment Officer, Angga Eka Wicaksana.
Apart from the Dean of FH UNAIR, the Dean of FH UNAIR and the Secretary of the Faculty of Law UNAIR also attended the contract signing agenda. The agenda was also attended by UNAIR Deputy Rector for Resources, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Madyan, S.E., M.Sc., M.Fin .; UNAIR Director of Facilities and Infrastructure, Nugroho Sasikirioni, S.E., M.M.; UNAIR Director of Finance, Dr. Ardianto, S.E., M.Sc., Ak.; Head of UNAIR Internal Supervisory Board, Dr. dr. Hamidah., S.E., Ak.; PT Bina Karya (Persero) Surabaya Branch Manager; and Head of the Surabaya Branch of PT Yodya Karya (Persero).
The agenda was opened with remarks from the Head of the UNAIR Service Center, Dr. Bambang Suheryadi, S.H., M.Hum. Dr. Bambang said that this was not the first time UNAIR partnered with PT PP (Persero), so he hoped that this collaboration would be as good as the previous one between UNAIR and PT PP (Persero).
“Hopefully, this is a good start and can be done well and finished on time. We also hope that there will be no problems in the future, because Damas, not the State Budget also fund this project, but because this is a public institution, the tender process and implementation process must still be transparent,” said Dr. Bambang.
On that occasion, Dr. Bambang also explained that PT PP (Persero) won the open tender after going through considerations and evaluations from UNAIR.
The following speech came from the Dean of FH UNAIR, Iman Prihandono. Iman said that the UNAIR Faculty of Law building had been occupied since 1981, so it has been used by various generations of the UNAIR Faculty of Law for 42 years.
“Alhamdulillah, after 42 years, we were given the opportunity by UNAIR to occupy a new modern building so that the teaching and learning process at FH UNAIR can be carried out better. The juries born from FH UNAIR will become better future juries. We will not be able to train students to become professional jurists if our infrastructure is inadequate. Thank you for those who have devoted their dedication to constructing the Pringgodigdo Building. Hopefully, this development process will run smoothly and well, “said Iman.
Then, the event continued with remarks from the Senior Vice President of the Building Operations Division, Andek Prabowo. Andek said PT PP (Persero) was very grateful for the trust given by UNAIR to collaborate again on the Pringgodigdo Building project.
“With this activity, hopefully, the cooperation between PT PP (Persero) and UNAIR can continue until later. We will also give our best to work on this project, “said Andek.
The last remarks were remarks from the Deputy Chancellor for Resources, Prof. Madyan. Prof. Madyan emphasized that in carrying out this project, all parties are expected to work as optimally and professionally as possible, including the supervisor. He underlined the importance of supervising project work to monitor the development process so that the operation can be carried out smoothly and successfully and get maximum results. He also emphasized that this project is clean and the parties are responsible for their work.
After that, the program continued with an animation showing the floor plan of the Pringgodigdo Building. Several new rooms are planned to be built in the Pringgodigdo Building, namely tier-model classrooms and an auditorium room for guest lectures.

Apart from the signing, there was also a symbolic handover of a plaque from PT PP (Persero) to UNAIR as a sign of the beginning of the Pringgodigdo Building project cooperation.
