SURABAYA “ HUMAS | On Friday (10/02/2023) at 16.00 WIB, UNAIR Public Policy Master Program held its inaugural lecture in the Adi Sukadana room. In this inaugural lecture, Eko Supeno as a lecturer in the public policy course explained material on building public services in the era of industrialization 4.0.
This lecture was attended by 24 students, one of whom was the Regent of Banyuwangi, Hj. Ipuk Fiestieandani, S.Pd. Ipuk said the reason she took the Public Policy major started with her interest in public policies in Indonesia. With a high enthusiasm for learning, Ipuk has a goal in the future to continue advancing Banyuwangi’s public services by applying the knowledge she has acquired.
From the lecturer’s presentation in this class, Ipuk admitted that he got interesting insights about digitalization concepts which are not just information but also have stages of interaction and transactions. From this digitalization concept, Ipuk is driven to advance Banyuwangi public services to the transaction level. Ipuk hopes that in the revolutionary era 4.0, public services in Banyuwangi can match what the public needs.
At the end of the interview, Ipuk said that in the current era of information technology, Indonesia needs young people. When young people lead, innovative inventions will continue to emerge. Ipuk also advised the younger generation who want to take part in politics to must have a strong commitment. “My message to young people who want to enter the world of politics and want to occupy political positions, have a strong commitment and sufficient knowledge so what was aspired at the beginning can be fulfilled,” said Ipuk at the end of the interview.
