UNAIR NEWS –Learn through play is an effective and efficient method for learning process. It is very suitable to be applied for primary school students. They would be easy to receive the lesson.
The method was also applied by Sekolah Dasar Negeri (Primary School) Barata Jaya, Surabaya. The school officer regularly conducts the edu-tour in the mid semester and engages the students to visit the historical place, for example Faculty of Medicine 51动漫 (FK UNAIR).
Irvan Efendi, the teacher of SDN Barata Jaya said that it was the second visit to the fourth oldest university in Indonesia. In this visit, on Tuesday (2/5), there were 160 studentss wore checked uniform toured the FK UNAIR campus, they visited museum of medicine and Anatomy and Histology Laboratory
They welcomed by Public relation staff of FK UNAIR, dr. Eighty Mardiyan, Sp.OG (K). The studentss seemed enthusiast to discover the displayed antiques. The museum guard and the teachers felt overwhelmed in answering question of students.
Irvan stated that the studentss had high enthusiasm while were visiting FK UNAIR.
淭hey are enthusiast to visit this place. Because in the museum they can see in person about microscopes, the old syringe and mannequin so, they can learn about human anatomy, and they also learn about name and function of medical equipment, He said
Irvan said that the edu-tour was effective way to ease students in memorizing lessons. Since the curriculum of 2013 applied, there were many courses that must be learned by students. To make it more varied, the school officers initiated the campus tour.
In addition to the classic FK UNAIR building, FK UNAIR museum becomes one of the most interesting objects for visitors. The Museum was inaugurated on October 17, 2013 coincided with 1st Century Medical doctor Education in Surabaya.
This medical museum is located on the west side of the main building of FK UNAIR. The colonial-style exterior and interior architecture is still preserved. Medical equipment such as syringes, scissors, and students cards, various props, and photographs of alumni were also displayed in the museum.
The idea of establishing the museum was come from the dean of FK UNAIR period 1982 -1985, Prof. Sentot Moestadjab Soeatmadji. He told to his friend to submit the medical equipment or the authentic proof which related to FK UNAIR.
Now, Museum of FK UNAIR collects many historical things. Gradually, there is more collection of old medical equipment.
