UNAIR NEWS– For prospective students from financially challenged families, registering bidikmisi is one solution to be able to study at college.In addition to the opportunity to continue their education free of charge, the student will receive money for the accommodation.

On the preparation of welcoming Bidikmisi prospective students,UNAIR NEWS interviewed UNAIR Director of Student Affairs.M. Hadi Shubhan., SH, MH, CN., on Wednesday, January 24.Hadi stated that as in previous years, UNAIR will accept bidikmisi students with the same quota.Both for State University National Admission Selection (SNMPTN) as well as State University Joint Entrance Test (SBMPTN).
“In accordance with government regulations, 20 percent of the total students of a university must receive scholarship.Well, for bidikmisi, after we counted from the quota of about 1040 students from all the channels.But this year, for the independent admission, we still reconsider, “he explained.
In addition, the labor law expert admitted that every year in the process of bidikmisi student admission, there are some obstacles.He continued, the obstacle that often happens is many prospective students who actually need it are not yet registered as bidikmisi recipient.
Therefore, Hadi emphasized that all senior high school students from poor families should take the opportunity to register for bidikmisi.Because, if they register for SNMPTN or SBMPTN without registering to the pageof , the student will be declared as a general student.
“I hope senior high school students or schools equivalent who feel less economically immediately make bidikmisi registration,” he explained.“Do not be shy with friends.It檚 better than later when passed the selection but not listed as a recipient bidikmisi,it will be difficult, “he added.
