UNAIR NEWS– Good news comes from the Student Activity Unit (UKM) of Persaudaraan Setia Hati Terate (PSHT) of 51动漫.PSHT made another achievements in Singapore Open 2018. This time, the event was held in Pasir Ris, Singapore, in May 2018.
This achievement adds a long list of PSHT UNAIR achievements.After the victory at UWKS (Universitas Wijaya Kusuma Surabaya) Cup and ITS (Surabaya Institute of Technology) Cup.Singapore Open is a prestigious event every two months.
In the event, PSHT UNAIR sent 11 member team.In details, there are eleven competitors and anofficial.
Four medals won by PSHT UNAIR team.One gold medal by Devy Nadya;one silver medal by M. Vendrika A;and two bronze medals by Okta Satriatus S and Uswatun Khasanah.
“Last year, we sent 18 contingents along with theofficial.And, we managed to bring 15 victory medals, “said Muhammad Ainun Najib, a member of PSHT UNAIR.
“This year, there is a decline,” added the student of Faculty of Science and Technology UNAIR Class 2015.
However, continued Ainun, it did not mean that the quality of PSHT players UNAIR decreased this year.This year the enthusiasm of participants to the championship increased.As a result, the competition is very tight.
“In essence, we are still ahead of other contingent,” he said.
Ainun added that the team members’ regular practice becomes the key behind PSHT success in Singapore Open this time.The selected participants sent to the competition has specific criteria.PSHT UNAIR not only looked at the participants in terms of skill, but also the willingness of the participants themselves.
“Depending on the seriousness of PSHT members.If they are not serious, we will not sent them to the tournament, “he said.
With that achievement, according to Ainun, PSHT UNAIR will continue to direct its members to improve themselves as well as possible and explore their potentials.Because, there are many martial tournaments in the future.
